Corby, What Next?
November 11 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
‘What Next?’ is a regular meeting for anyone who is interested in exploring how arts and culture plays a role in our town’s history, present and future.
Held at Paletto Lounge from 5-6pm, each session has a short talk by a guest speaker followed by a Q&A and informal group conversation to discuss and learn more about that month’s theme. This November please join us afterwards for Arts Networking from 6 – 7.30pm.
11th November Speaker
Judy Caine & Paul Balmer from HD Media CIC
Since 2014, HD Media CIC have offered FREE training, mentoring and ‘on the job’ experience to 11–24 year-olds who wish to pursue careers in TV, radio, film and/or social media/ webcasting.
They give young people the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of production from the client brief to the finished product. They have had 2 BBC broadcasts and one of their young people recently won the BFI’s ‘One to Watch Award’!
Judy and Paul teach practical skills with emphasis on increasing confidence, building self-esteem and adopting a ‘Can Do’ approach to life! In their ‘What Next’ presentation they will talk about some of their projects, and will show an example of their work on a laptop.
