Story Cubes with Carole Miles
April 27 - June 8
Welcome to the very first Made At Home activity, our new series of videos to give our communities new and exciting things to do during lockdown.
Today Carole Miles is showing us how to make your own Story Cubes, so you can make up new wild stories together as a family!
You will want to download and print the story box template, but don’t worry if you don’t have a printer – you can still do the activity in a slightly different way – watch both videos below for guidance. Carole has also provided some suggestions for pictures to decorate your cube although you can draw your own. Her suggestions are available here here, here and here.
Follow this short video guide to get you started and share your creations with us on our #MadeAtHome posts on social media!
If you don’t have a printer, follow the instructions below to create a box net by hand.
Once you’ve completed each challenge you’ll be able to do a quick #MadeAtHome audience survey to tell us what it was like, for a chance to win a £50 shopping voucher. Each time you complete an activity you can take the survey again and increase your chances of winning! See the #MadeAtHome main page for prize draw terms and conditions.
