Cultivate Training: Safeguarding Awareness

The Safeguarding Awareness course explores the key principles in Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults. On completion, participants will be able to better recognise the signs of child and adult abuse as well as understand their role in reporting and preventing abuse of both children and vulnerable adults. Led by Kimberley Lawson, Groundwork Northamptonshire.
Hosted at The Lab, Core at Corby Cube.
Light lunch, tea and coffee provided.
Please arrive promptly at 12:30pm to pick up your food, ready for a 1:00pm start to the session.
Please note that this training does not prepare you to deliver arts sessions to specific groups but to become more aware of identifying signs of abuse, reporting and preventing.
What is a Cultivate programme?
Our Cultivate programme aims to support community groups and local artists working together to create great art experiences for the people of Corby. Through Cultivate, projects that engage local people in high quality arts experiences are offered a bespoke package of support enabling them to realise their projects, secure investment and build plans to make their partnerships sustainable.
To be eligible for this training, you or your group must be developing an arts project within the boundaries of Corby Borough.
