Local performance groups wanted for Grow Festival 2020

Grow Festival is set to bring more spectacular outdoor arts to Corby in February 2020 and talented local artists are being sought to be a part of The People’s Stage. For the third Grow Festival, Made in Corby and The Core at Corby Cube are delighted to join forces with ArtReach to incorporate the highly-successful Corby Mardi Gras event into the festival, taking place on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February 2020.

The People’s Stage will be held on Saturday 8 February and local groups are invited to come and perform in a prominent town centre location. Grow are looking for anyone from established choir groups, local bands and dance troupes to up-and-coming young singer/songwriters, providing the perfect opportunity for them to showcase their talent.

Continuing to look at the essential ingredients for growth, Grow 2020 is inspired by the theme of light. Corby’s town centre, The Core at Corby Cube and other indoor locations will this year be illuminated with extraordinary performances, magical installations and spectacular art throughout the festival.

In keeping with the theme of the festival, we would encourage groups/individuals applying to use ideas of light, space or ‘out of this world’ in their performances. To find out more or to express an interest, please contact Made in Corby at info@madeincorby.co.uk or 01536 267895 by Monday 9 December 2020.
