Corby’s Grow Festival 2019 is fast approaching and we need YOU to get involved. Last year’s festival saw thousands of people descend on Corby’s town centre to engage in performances, experiences and workshops all over a weekend of fun and entertainment.
The GROW festival is a series of three outdoor arts festivals commissioned by Made in Corby and co-produced with The Core at Corby Cube. Our aim is to inspire more local residents to take the lead in creating, experiencing, and participating in high-quality arts and cultural activities.
The theme for each festival is inspired by the elements that are necessary for growth – Water, Food and Light. Last year’s water-themed festival was a huge success, with exceptional feedback from performers, audiences and sponsors alike.
This year’s festival is inspired by the theme ‘food and feasting’, and will animate Corby’s town centre over the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2019.
On the Saturday, the town centre will host mobile music, dance, interesting interactive installations, walkabout acts and shows for all the family. For the Sunday, focus will switch to a huge outdoor community feast, sharing and celebrating the food and cultures of Corby.
We are now looking for sponsors and would love for you to help us make this year’s festival even better than the last. Not only is it a great way to be involved in a community charity event local to you, but it is also a fantastic opportunity to gain brand awareness around Corby town centre.
