As part of our Cultivate programme to support local community groups and local artists, we’re offering a free programme of three new training sessions in various business techniques to broaden horizons for people who want to bring arts opportunities and events to the Corby Borough. Based in a small group setting (maximum of 6 participants) we will provide intimate training lead by different teams within Made In Corby in a two-hour long workshop to ensure that each participant, having broadened their knowledge in that specific area, will leave and be able to produce amazing opportunities for arts in our area.
Our first session will be our fundraising training, on the 9th October from 2pm-4pm at our Made In Corby office, in which we will cover the basics of fundraising and getting financial support. The workshop will include advice on applying to trusts and foundations, building relationships with potential sponsors and donors and getting in-kind support for your work.
Following on, there will be two more training sessions in project planning and social media marketing in November and December respectively.
Below are the links to the Eventbrite application pages to read up more on what each workshop entails and to register yourself on these events. You must be planning an arts project in the Corby Borough and due to the intimate size, we will only allow one person from each organisation.
