For this year’s Grow Festival we have created three mini-guides to help everyone get the most out of Corby’s first ever Grow Festival. So whether you have all weekend to come along and enjoy Grow Festival or just a couple of hours to discover the delights on offer, select a mini-guide that suits you.
Saturday 21 July 2018
5pm to 8pm
On Saturday evening enjoy some of the highlights of the fantastic Grow Festival as you take a leisurely stroll through Corby Town Centre and the Boating Lake. This mini-guide takes in performances you will not want to miss.
Start your evening off by experiencing the internationally-known performance Frantic from acrobatic dance troupe Acrojou, then take a walk round to Queens Square where a specially commissioned animation by Joe’s Hole will be projected onto windows above Boots and Wilkinsons.
All the way from India, Grow Festival host the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band featuring an eclectic mix of funky twists on well-known pop songs! You can catch this show in the form of a procession through Thoroughsale Woods culminating in the final performance of the evening: Music of the Spheres on the Boating Lake. On your way back to Corby Town Centre, experience Corby’s very own composition in Shimmer: a unique sound installation in the trees through Thoroughsale Woods.
Finally, head into Olive Restaurant to grab our festival #GROWjito cocktail for only £6!
