Join the Made in Corby team!
After successfully gaining investment of around £885,000 from Arts Council England to continue the Made in Corby programme until 2020, we are now looking to enhance our small, but dedicated staff team.
Made in Corby is the Creative People & Places (CPP) programme for the borough of Corby, Northamptonshire. CPP is about more people taking the lead in choosing, creating and taking part in art experiences in the places where they live. There are 21 independent projects, each located in an area where people have traditionally had fewer opportunities to get involved with the arts. See www.creativepeopleplaces.org.uk for further details.
We’ve got lots of exciting plans to create inspiring arts experiences with and for the people of Corby, including three major outdoor arts festivals, a programme of community-led commissioning, support for local arts projects and in-depth audience development initiatives with early years, older people and hard-to-reach young people. To enable these, and to secure a firm legacy for the programme, we’re recruiting to the following roles:
22.5 hours per week
£24,000 per annum pro rata
The Producer will manage the Made in Corby programme, which includes a range of activities, events, performances, exhibitions, artist residencies and festivals, through a model of community-led commissioning and programming. You’ll have experience of producing arts projects, be confident in working with the community and passionate about engaging new audiences.
15 hours per week
£24,000 per annum pro rata
Our new Development Officer will work with the Programme Director to achieve income targets to support the Made in Corby programme. This will include identifying sources of funding, preparing funding bids, developing our offer to the private sector and working with community groups. You’ll have a track record of fundraising in an arts or voluntary sector organisation, experience of implementing fundraising strategies and excellent communication skills.
30 hours per week
£17,000 per annum pro rata
The Programme Assistant will assist the Made in Corby staff team, and associated artists, freelance staff and community groups, on a range of projects. Working as part of a small team, you will work across all aspects of administration, including assisting with the project management of events and activities, alongside general office administration. You should have a passion for the arts, some experience of working in an office environment and excellent organisational skills.
The deadline for all roles is 9am on Monday 16th October.
Applications must be made via the Groundwork Northamptonshire application form. CVs will not be accepted. No agencies.
